PMCC OLYMPIC CURLING DAY
Port Moody Curling Club is getting in on the fun of the 2026 Winter Olympics excitement and hosting our inaugural PMCC Olympic Curling Day! Happening this year on Saturday February 21, 2026
From 9:30- 11:30 AM we will be having an Open House, where we welcome members of the general public to learn about the club and get on the ice to throw a rock or two. Club members are encouraged to bring their family and friends to discover curling. We will also need on-ice and off-ice volunteers.
Then, starting at 12:00 PM we will be running a Funpsiel! Each team will play three 4-end, one hour games with different fun formats and cash prizes for game winners. In addition, we will be bringing back the Skills Competition, a team-based event with six different stations (draw the button, hit-and-stick, double-takeout, draw through a port, and more). Prizes will be awarded for the teams that score the most points.
The cost for the funspiel is $50 + GST per person, and that includes your three games, skills competition, and a catered pasta dinner. Enter as a team, or enter as an individual and we’ll place you on a team.
