About Us
Port Moody Curling Club is a recreational community club that welcomes people of all ages and abilities, with competitive play for those who want it.
We welcome new players with an open house at the beginning of the season, Try Curling programs, ‘newbie’ lessons, and 5-packs of games with instruction to help you learn the basics.
For more experienced players we offer clinics throughout the season to help curlers of all levels build their skills.
The club is a glue that holds together 18 leagues, each with their own dedicated time on the ice, makeup, and focus – social, recreational, or competitive. We host seniors leagues during the workweek, and after-school junior leagues for young people starting at age 7. We have seven evening and weekend adult leagues. We also host a number of bonspiels (fun tournaments) every season.
Based at the Port Moody Recreation Centre, we have six sheets of ice & an upstairs viewing lounge, and were founded in 1975. Our season runs from early September through March.
