The purpose of this event is to bring together team members, each representing their league in a friendly competition at the end of the curling season. It is typically held the same day as the Annual General Meeting in March and includes lunch. Teams usually play two games, determined by random draw.
Spirit of the competition:
This is a friendly competition that has been a tradition of the Port Moody Curling for years. It’s not the Scotties or Brier, so have fun and play your best! As they say….you never know!
Each league is allowed one representative team with the exception of the Monday Night Men, who can send two teams since this league has a double draw.
Leagues are encouraged to choose a team from their league based on the results/standings of their regular league competition. A maximum of 16 teams can enter.
If, at the last minute, another team is required so that we have an even number of teams, an extra team that does not necessarily meet any of these rules may be added solely at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
