Benefits of membership
Sparing
As a member (paid and in good standing), you can spare in any PMCC league if that team is short a player. Unsure how to let teams know you’re interested in sparing? Register as a Spare by updating your Curler’s Profile and selecting Sparing in our Registration System for the league that you are interested in sparing in. The league’s representatives will make sure all teams in their league have your contact info.
Voting
As an adult member (paid and in good standing), you are eligible to vote at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in mid March, and at any other special membership meetings that may arise. Our Board is very active managing the club. See Board information below.
Practice Ice
As a member (paid and in good standing), you can practice for free during our club practice times. Use the reservation system each week to book your sheet (mandatory since sheets fill up fast).

Microphone & Speaker Rental
Want to borrow the Club’s microphone and speaker for a bonspiel or other event?
Reservation must be made at least seven (7) days prior to your event. Subject to availability.
Volunteers
Volunteers are the life blood of our club.
Besides volunteering and being elected to the Board of Directors, you can volunteer with leagues, club events and many other initiatives going on at the club.

Our Leagues
Our leagues are run by volunteers who are usually elected for the new curling year at the end of the current season.
The number of positions varies for each league.
Whenever you volunteer your time (except for Board meetings), log your hours in our tracker.
We want to better understand where our volunteers efforts are spent and recognize you for your efforts!
