Private Bookings
Port Moody Curling Club welcomes any group small or large to book the ice for a private rental
In conjunction with the City of Port Moody, our club coordinates all ice bookings for groups or individuals not associated with the Port Moody Curling Club. Whether you’re looking to book a corporate team-building event, or just rent a sheet of ice for a casual curling game, we can accommodate you.
Our fee for private ice rental in 2026-27 is $280 for two hours per sheet of ice. Each sheet can be used by a maximum of 8 players. We are an accessible club and welcome wheelchair curlers.
- Generally, our time slots available for private bookings are as follows:
- Mondays: 12:00 – 6:00
- Wednesdays & Fridays: 3:30 – 6:00
- Saturdays: 3:30 – 7:00
- Sundays: 7:30 – 9:30
- Please note that not all time slots are always available
- Ideally bookings are made at least a month in advance
- All necessary equipment is included in the rental fee: brooms, grippers, sliding pads, stabilizers, and delivery sticks. Participants are encouraged to wear helmets but we do not provide helmets to rent. Hockey or bike helmets are suitable for curling.
- Private rentals include instructor(s) for safety and assistance
- Instructors can provide some basic information and strategy but this is not an instructional lesson. If you have never curled before and are interested in learning about curling, we recommend taking one of our Try Curling sessions, or joining our Beginners program.
