Registration FAQs
How do I login to Registration System (Curling.IO)?
Check our these “How to” videos: How do I Login and How Register for a League
You can also view our PMCC-specific Help tutorial videos, which will walk you through the registration process. You can find these in the Help Tutorials folder in the Member Documents section.
To login, you need to have either a Google email account or an email address.
If you use a Google email address, use your Google email and password to log in. The Club recommends this option because it is faster.
If you use another (non Google) address, enter your email address above the “Send me a Login Link” button and you will receive an email that has a temporary link (a.k.a. token) that you must click to enter the Registration System (Curling.IO) site.
NOTE: Your token will be valid for several days, but if it has been a long time since you last logged into the Registration System, you will need to request a new email (with a new token link) again.
Please make sure you use the same email address each time when accessing the Registration System. If you use different email addresses it will create multiple accounts and you won’t be able to see previous orders.
Can I register in person?
Members are encouraged to register online through the Registration System. We have provided handy tutorial videos which will guide you through the registration process; you can find these under “Help Tutorials” in our Member Documents section.
We also provide registration assistance at our annual open house. Please check the Open House page for the date and time of our open house.
Why don’t all leagues cost the same amount?
Our evening leagues are more expensive than our daytime leagues because evening leagues are held during “prime” (high demand) time. Each league sets their own fee schedule based on the number of weeks they play, the parties they include, and any prizes offered.
Do you accept cash and/or cheque payment?
Registration through the Registration System only accepts credit/debit* cards.
*In order to pay with a debit card online, it needs to have a Visa or MasterCard logo. If assistance is required contact [email protected]
What is your refund policy?
Requests for refund due to medical reasons will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. A doctor’s note may be required.
The full refund policy is in our Policy and Procedures Manual, available in our Member Documents section.
Refunds will be issued back to the credit/debit card used to pay the dues and/or fees.
How can I request a refund?
Please see our refund policy for eligibility. Contact your league to request a refund.
How can I make a change to my registration?
Contact [email protected] if you require changes to your registration.
Note: Once you have submitted an order through the Registration System, you cannot amend it so please check it carefully before hitting the ‘submit’ button. Only PMCC can make changes to existing registrations.
How do I register as a spare?
See the Sparing Page for instructions on registering as a spare for other leagues.
I paid my Curling Canada and Curl BC dues at another club. How do I register at PMCC without paying them again?
Curling.IO is the Registration System strongly recommended by Curling Canada. The system is also used by Curl BC and is how we report our membership to them and Curling Canada.
If you have registered and paid your Curling Canada and Curl BC fees at another club that uses Curling.IO, you will not be prompted to pay those fees again. However, if the other club does not use Curling.IO, unfortunately you will need to pay them again and then request a refund. Contact [email protected] for assistance.
How do I register my child or spouse?
In Curling.IO you create one Account and then you can create many Profiles within that account.
Each person requires their own profile that indicates their gender and age.
To register a child or spouse, create a profile for them in your account and then you can register them for their league. You can also create a separate account, with the other person’s own login info, address, etc.
Please do not try to register a child or spouse under your profile as it register the wrong person for that league or event.
Can I purchase my spouse’s or child’s registration at the same time as mine?
Yes, you can shop for and add as many leagues or products to your cart as you wish. Before you check out, you will see an itemized list of everything you have purchased and for whom (and may make corrections if needed).
If you wish, you can always come back later and purchase additional items. Or you may wish to do it all in the one transaction. It is up to you!
I don’t have a team. Can I still curl?
Yes! Our Learners, Newbie, Tuesday Takeouts and Juniors leagues are all designed for individual sign-up. While other leagues are designed for 4-person teams, teams are often looking for players to join them. Come to the Open House or contact the league representative directly to ask if they have openings. You can also sign up as a spare after you join the Club.
I am on a 5-person (or 6-person) team. Can our team members pay adjusted rates?
We do not have special rates for 5 (or more) person teams. We require teams to officially register 4 people only. The 5th (or 6th) person should register as a club member-only, and not pay the league fees. Among your teammates, you can then privately settle who owes who how much.
Can I become a club member but not join a league or program?
Yes. Purchase your membership here. See the benefits of membership here.
Can I join a league or program without becoming a member?
No, every player must become a club member (adult or junior) to play in a league or program at PMCC. When you register a curler for a league or program, the registration system will automatically add the correct membership fee to the order. If registering for multiple leagues or programs, the registration system will only add the membership fee once/person.
