Upcoming events
This season has wrapped up. Please check back in the summer for updates to our events for the 2026 – 2027 season.
Programs
The Port Moody Curling Club runs a few programs throughout the year – in particular Try Curling for anyone interested in trying out the game and development clinics for curlers looking to hone their skills
Offered throughout the curling season, Try Curling sessions are for anyone who hasn’t curled but is interested in giving it a low-pressure try. They’re an easy way to get on the ice for a couple of hours with coaches who will help you learn some basics.
Try Curling participants who want more can then sign up for our newcomers lessons or leagues.
Events
The Port Moody Curling Club hosts a number of recurring events each year – weekend bonspiels with their own flair, open houses, our AGM, and a club championship to wrap each season. Here is the full roster:
We kick off the season with our open house. Come throw a rock or two — we'll get you on the ice, no experience or equipment necessary
Our first bonspiel of the season is our annual funspiel in memory of PMCC member Gail Burak
Sweeping Into the Holidays is our annual two-day competitive bonspiel with a festive theme. Three games guaranteed, prizes for final round winners and runners up. Friday pizza dinner, Saturday lunch and catered dinner. Door prizes, raffles, silent auction and more!
This is the Club’s first Bonspiel and the start up of our winter season following our Christmas break. This is a MIXED fun and social spiel to get the body moving after the holidays
Come join this multi-club fun event! Mixed teams are welcome, five 2-hour games over three days
Our annual junior bonspiel with three different competition classes. Open format, with the primary focus of player development while having fun and meeting new people
The Port Moody Curling Club is getting into the Olympic spirit with all-day events on February 21, 2026. We'll have an open house from 9:30 - 11:30am, and then we'll run a funspiel from 12:00 - 10:00pm
Our Newbie Spiel is for players with five years experience or less. Sign up as a team of four or solo!
This one-day bonspiel brings together the top teams from all the PMCC leagues to crown our club champion for the season
The Port Moody Curling Club Annual General Meeting takes place during the club championships at the end of the season. All members are welcome to attend.

We offer several development clinics throughout the year, giving members an opportunity to hone their skills on the ice. Typically running two hours, we offer clinics on strategy; line and delivery; timing, sweeping, and communication; stick delivery; and ice reading, line calling, and tactics.
